ECM What's New: a phone assistant that does, not just answers
A phone assistant that can only talk is a polite answering machine. The caller asks a real question, the assistant takes a message, and a human still has to do the work later.
The ECM voice assistant's custom actions have been rebuilt. It can now connect to outside systems mid-call with proper authentication and full request support, set up through a clear, guided interface with testing built in before anything goes live. The assistant collects exactly the details the connected system needs, no more and no less, and you control precisely what gets sent where.
For an event business that means the assistant can check something, log something or update something while the caller is still on the line, rather than promising a callback.
Existing assistant setups keep working as they are; the new capability applies when you're ready to use it.
