
ECM What's New: full contact history on your phone
At 4pm on show day nobody is sitting at a desk. The client calls, and whoever answers needs the whole story: what was agreed, what was sent, what's outstanding. Usually that story lives on a screen back in the office.
The ECM mobile app now has an Activity tab on every contact: a chronological timeline of everything that's happened, calls, form submissions, appointments and more, with filters for when the list gets long, and richer detail a tap away.
That means the duty manager dealing with a query in a corridor has the same context as the office. No "let me check and call you back", no relying on memory, no tab-switching between five places on a small screen.
Small update on paper; in practice it's the difference between sounding organised and sounding surprised.
